Overview
Turn back time with the Limited Edition Jazz Bass® Special Journeyman Relic® from the Fender Custom Shop. This bass has all the mojo of a vintage instrument thanks to its Journeyman Relic® finish, which imparts the look and feel of a well-loved bass.
The bass features a lightweight 2-piece select ash body paired with a quartersawn maple neck for resonant, singing tone. The quartersawn maple neck has a comfortable 1960 Jazz Bass “U" profile and is topped with a 3A rosewood fingerboard. It includes 20 Jescar Vintage frets, mother of pearl dot inlays, and a 1.5" nut width for smooth playability.
For classic Jazz Bass tone, the bass is equipped with a Custom Shop Hand-Wound '57 Split Single-Coil Precision Bass® pickup in the middle position and a Custom Shop Hand-Wound '60s Jazz Bass® pickup in the bridge. Controls include individual volume controls for each pickup and a master tone control.
